Older People’s Forums

Make your voice heard on issues that affect you!

Our forums are an opportunity for people aged 50+ to discuss issues that matter to them, and to inform community development services on what’s needed to enhance the lives of older people in our communities.

Any one aged 50 or over is welcome to attend forum meetings, which run all year round, in different locations around Conwy and Denbighshire. The forums are facilitated by Age Connects NWC coordinators who bring along lots of information, leaflets, and materials on a wide range of topics and services.

OPF Newsletters

The Older People’s Forums (OPF) Newsletters are published on a regular basis by our Denbighshire and Conwy Older People Forum Coordinators.

The OPF newsletters started during lockdown to provide older people who were not accessing the internet, with vital information on how to get help.

The newsletters are bilingual, and packed with information and local happenings, as well as poems, pictures and articles provided by forum members and subscribers.

There are currently over 2800 subscribers in Conwy and Denbighshire.

The OPF newsletters are available for free to anyone via email or post. To subscribe call 0300 2345 007 or email newsletter@acnwc.org.
